From reaching the milestone of monitoring more than 500 satellites daily to accelerating Europe’s Space Domain Awareness and defence resilience, 2025, our 5th anniversary year was a year where Neuraspace scaled impact and credibility across commercial, institutional, and defence stakeholders. With the support of key partners, we strengthened safer, smarter, and more sustainable space operations and we did it while expanding our product portfolio and international footprint.
Here’s how 2025 became our year of growth, trust, and transformation.
Customers Highlights
GomSpace: GomSpace integrated Neuraspace’s Space Traffic Management (STM) into its HOOP satellite operations platform, expanding automated STM capabilities to a wider operator base and reinforcing hands-off scalable operations.
German Orbital Systems (GOS): GOS contracted Neuraspace to secure Pathfinder A (16U) — the pilot satellite of ESA’s upcoming Celeste In-Orbit Demonstration constellation for LEO-PNT. Neuraspace will deliver a service package including automated conjunction screening, analysis and classification, manoeuvre planning and optimisation, and LEOP support with GNSS processing and dedicated tracking.
Open Cosmos: Open Cosmos selected Neuraspace’s Space Traffic Management (STM) specifically to access new, innovative flight dynamics features that help safeguard LEO missions and automate routine operations for satellites with onboard propulsion—reducing manual workload and the need for a dedicated flight dynamics team, while supporting in-orbit validation and iterative feature development through 2025–2026.
Institutional & Commercial Momentum: At our five-year milestone, we placed our customers and partners in the spotlight giving them the opportunity to reflect on their challenges moving forward and our role in supporting them and reflecting growing trust in Neuraspace’s SDA and STM capabilities.
Defence Highlights
Neuraspace DEF: We launched Neuraspace DEF to strengthen defence and civil protection resilience in a contested space environment—addressing threats like jamming/spoofing, cyberattacks, debris collisions, ASAT, and non-cooperative behaviours.
What it enables: Detection and analysis, high-precision tracking of national/allied assets, automatic alerts for sensitive zones, and actionable operational insight via continuous, predictive monitoring.
Operational continuity: Designed to support more autonomous control, helping sustain operations under disruption, improve resilience, and reduce dependency on external systems.

Product Updates
We expanded into five product lines:
- Launch Screening (new)
- Mission Design (new)
- LEOP Tracking (new)
- Space Traffic Management (STM)
- Data & Tracking Services
Autonomous + Secure Operations: Across our public releases, we reinforced a clear direction: reduce operational burden, enable secure and resilient mission operations, and support the growing needs of both commercial operators and defence stakeholders.
Projects Highlights
EMISSARY (European Defence Fund): Neuraspace joined the €158M EMISSARY European defence initiative (a four-year programme) and acts as national coordinator for Portugal, contributing to next-generation SDA through a sensor network and a military-grade SSA C2 system.
Smarter Orbits leveraging GNSS: With ESA’s support Neuraspace is developing “Stop Getting Noise – Automated GNSS Processing for Smarter Orbits” to enable more scalable, accurate, and autonomous orbit determination—especially for mega-constellations—through GNSS data cleanup, lightweight onboard phase correction, and improved orbit prediction accuracy, helping operators and public-sector users reduce collision risk, speed up safeguarding decisions, and improve operational efficiency with less dependence on ground infrastructure.
Industry Recognition
Our innovation and growth were recognised across Europe’s space ecosystem: ESA Rising Stars 2025: Neuraspace was selected as one of ESA’s Rising Stars 2025, announced at Space Tech Expo Europe — recognition of our innovation in Space Domain Awareness and our strong business growth.
Expansion & Ecosystem
Neuraspace expands with new office in Luxembourg and starts collaboration with Luxembourg Space Agency (Apr 2025)
- We opened a new Luxembourg office to scale Neuraspace across commercial operations, engineering, and production, while complementing our existing presence in Coimbra, Lisbon, and Munich.
- The expansion also strengthens collaboration with the Luxembourg Space Agency and Luxinnovation, reinforcing our position in one of Europe’s most important space hubs.
New Neuraspace Office Established at UPTEC Baixa in Porto (Aug 2025)
- We opened a new office at UPTEC Baixa (Porto) to support continued company growth and to scale delivery across our expanded product portfolio.
- Being based at a major innovation ecosystem helps us strengthen ties with the local tech and research landscape while accelerating recruitment and collaboration.
- The Porto site supports multiple workstreams—software development, QA, ML, and marketing—with further hiring planned.
Neuraspace Selected for CASSINI Business Accelerator Programme (May 2025)
- Neuraspace was selected for Batch 5 of the CASSINI Business Accelerator, reflecting the maturity of our business and the traction of our commercial offering.
- The selection (from 100+ applicants) reinforced our positioning around product–market fit and scalable growth in Europe’s space ecosystem.
- The programme supports faster scale-up through expert mentoring and training, high-value industry exposure, and investor matchmaking.
Neuraspace Selected for Apollo Accelerator – SDA TAP Lab Cohort 9 (Dec 2025)
- Neuraspace was accepted into the Apollo Accelerator (Cohort 9) running 10 December 2025 to 04 March 2026, a collaborative 3-month programme tackling priority SDA challenges aligned with operational needs.
- The programme is delivered by the SDA TAP Lab in partnership with Space Systems Command (SSC), the U.S. Space Force field command for space development, acquisition, launch, and logistics.
- Participants get access to a sandbox (data, services, dev environment, app hosting) to rapidly prototype and transition capabilities, while retaining their intellectual property.
Neuraspace Selected for NATO DIANA Accelerator Programme (Dec 2025)
- Neuraspace was selected into NATO DIANA, an accelerator created to speed the development and adoption of dual-use technologies that address critical defence and security challenges across the Alliance.
- This strengthens our strategic alignment with resilience and security needs, helping connect our capabilities with relevant stakeholders and mission priorities.
- DIANA provides a transatlantic support network—including 16 accelerator sites and 200+ specialised test centres—to help innovators refine solutions and validate them in realistic, mission-relevant environments.
In the Journal
- Turning multi-source data into accurate orbit determination: Neuraspace and ESA’s Space Debris Office completed a Multi-Source Data Correlator project under ESA’s GSTP, resulting in a paper (Rob Arthur, Miguel Santos, Gianmario Merisio) describing how Neuraspace achieved accurate orbit determination using multi-source, multi-sensor data and deployed it into a commercial prototype STM service, including integration into Neuraspace’s STM platform for responsive orbit determination supporting safe and efficient spacecraft operations.
