Bodø, Norway, 29 October 2024 – Portuguese NewSpace company Neuraspace, one of the world leaders in space traffic management (STM), is among the six winners of the Tech Tour Space 2024 Award. An expert panel of 38 European investors handpicked the 25 companies pitching for the awards and chose the winners.
Neuraspace, which currently monitors more than 350 satellites through its STM Platform, won the Space Communications in Orbital Operations category.
Held in Bodø, Norway, Tech Tour Space 2024 brought together investors and space industry experts to meet Europe's most promising innovative companies.
The six companies received their awards “for their outstanding presentations, recognising their groundbreaking contributions”.
Carlos Cerqueira, Neuraspace's business development director, who presented the company at the event, said: “The jury recognised Neuraspace for its proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technology, which makes it possible to predict and manage space traffic in an automated and efficient way, its strong market presence, and for its high customer satisfaction.
“This award is the corollary of the work of a team of around 30 people and the unequivocal support of our investors and the PRR's Mobilising Agenda. Together we were able to stand out among a panorama of highly innovative companies that are exploring the aerospace market worldwide.”
The other five winners are: Atmos Space Cargo, deltaVision, Kuva Space, Sofant Technologies, and Spectrum Blue.
