Neuraspace Release 3.9: New Capabilities for Orbit Analysis, Manoeuvre Assessment and Data Visualisation

Neuraspace Platform 3.9 is here, introducing a new set of features and improvements that make orbit analysis, manoeuvre assessment, and data visualisation more consistent and easier to use.
This release brings new capabilities for comparing orbits, analysing manoeuvres, and visualising conjunctions, alongside several workflow and user experience improvements designed to make everyday operations more efficient.
Compare Multiple Orbits Side by Side
Understanding how different orbits evolve is an essential part of mission analysis. With Release 3.9, we've introduced Orbit Compare, a new feature that makes these comparisons faster and more intuitive.
A new Compare tab is now available on the satellite details page, allowing users to compare up to four orbit segments side by side. Comparisons can include segments from different series, different satellites, and manoeuvres, making it easier to evaluate orbital elements such as eccentricity, semi-major axis, and inclination across multiple datasets.

Pre & Post Manoeuvre Orbit Visualisation
This release also expands the level of detail available when analysing manoeuvres, helping users better understand how a manoeuvre affects a satellite's orbit.
The manoeuvre details page has been upgraded to display the orbital elements before and after a manoeuvre directly within the interface.
The pre-manoeuvre section loads from the most recent Neuraspace series segment at the first ignition epoch, while the post-manoeuvre section shows the orbital state after the last ignition.
Differences between Keplerian elements are intuitively colour-coded (green for positive, red for negative), making changes easier to identify at a glance. Element-type tags (Osculating or Mean) are also displayed for clarity, and users can select different series and segments for further analysis.

Manoeuvre vs Orbit Plots
To support more detailed assessments, users can now plot a manoeuvre's orbital parameters against those of other orbits.
Multiple variables can be selected and compared simultaneously, allowing for a more comprehensive analysis. Charts are available for the Keplerian orbital elements—including eccentricity, semi-major axis, inclination, RAAN, and argument of perigee—as well as perigee, apogee, argument of latitude, and altitude.

Smarter Conjunction Visualisation
The manoeuvre information panel on the Conjunction page has been updated to display only relevant manoeuvres.
The panel is now shown only when manoeuvres fall within the conjunction timeline window and are still upcoming, ensuring only relevant information is displayed.
Target and chaser manoeuvres are clearly distinguished through space object names and colour-coded indicators within the timeline, making conjunction analysis easier to interpret.
More Reliable Notifications
This version includes an update to the platform's notifications backhaul, improving system isolation and making notifications more robust. As part of this upgrade, any pending notifications in the Neuraspace web application will be cleared.
UI/UX and Workflow Improvements
In addition to the new analytical capabilities, this release includes several improvements that streamline workflows across the platform.
- Manoeuvre creation preview: A free preview of the manoeuvre creation page is now available across all subscription tiers. In the next release, this capability will become exclusive to PRO-tier satellites.
- Persistent plot settings: The “Absolute Values” and “Log” toggle states now persist across tabs, allowing users to maintain their preferred plot settings while moving between different analyses.
- Improved File Processing Feedback: Users now receive a success notification when a file has been processed, even if it contains non-fatal errors, providing clearer feedback on the processing outcome.
- Enhanced Conjunction Details: Conjunction details linked to a manoeuvre now include the state vector at Time of Closest Approach (TCA). In addition, the conjunction card within the manoeuvre details page has been redesigned to provide a cleaner, more intuitive layout.
